It's in the Details #2

In this series, we'll be looking at details that are hidden all around you at the parks. The Imagineers do a great job placing in many hidden gems and things to try that one has to take a moment to notice, or explore. Many of these are obvious and in plain sight, and some are hidden quite well, you just have to know where to look.

Always a subject of debate is the tenants of the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center. The current inhabitant is Stitch's Great Escape, having taken the spot after the departure of the ExraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, which was widely considered to be the scariest and most intense experience created for WDW. When it was was closed, it was quickly replaced by Stitch, and many elements are more or less reused or re-imagined.  In the former, a company by the name X-S Tech (let that sink in) was showcasing its new teleporter for the guests arriving. As in Disney fashion, things go wrong and chaos ensues. Above is some of the various teleport tech in use by the current Galactic Federation Prisoner Facility (the current proprietors of the location). A little look at the plaque reveals none other than X-S has provided some of the equipment in use.
